Turkish domestic appliance brand Beko promote their new AqquTech washing machine technology with this advert featuring Barcelona football stars.
The ad begins with a daughter telling her dad “Time to train, Daddy!” to which he responds “Later?” while showing a dirt mark on his sports top… the 55th excuse. The girl then asks “What if I bring some friends?” and Barcelona football stars Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, Gerard Piqué, Arda Turan and Marc-André ter Stegen appear to come to the rescue. The commercial then demonstrates how AquaTech washing machines use the power of water to reduce harsh drum movements, giving you up to 50% faster and up to 50% gentler washes compared to a conventional Beko washing machine.

The music in the Beko AquaTech advert is a song with the lyrics “Everytime I look at you, I don’t know what I’m to do”. There has been much speculation as to who the band are and what song they are performing in this ad. Many say it sounds like Los Angeles-based band Electric Guest with a track very similar to their 2012 song “This Head I Hold”. However we are yet to match and identify the song with the lyrics used in this advert. If anyone has any more information, we would be glad to hear from you!
