This new 2020 O2 advert features a cover song by Joy Crookes. The advert titled You & Me features a little robot who helps customers throughout the day as they carry out their lives. Whether it be finding your way around urban streets or booking a taxi when you’ve missed the train, the robot is always there by their side with a little helping hand.
The robot of course represent the O2 network. A voice-over by Sean Bean tells viewers “Because we’re the UK’s number 1 network, we’re here for you whenever you need us”.

The music in the 2020 O2 Robot advert is a cover version of the song “You & Me” originally released in 1994 by Swedish alt-rock band The Wannadies. The cover version in the advert is performed by London-based soul singer Joy Crookes. The song in the advert includes the lyrics “And it’s always you and me, always. And forever, you and me, always”.
