Strictly Come Dancing 2019 – Trailer Song


This TV advert trailer for Strictly Come Dancing 2019 has been released by the BBC. The ballroom dance tournament returns with a new batch of stars and professionals ready to take on the challenge to follow in the footsteps of previous winners Natasha Kaplinsky and Alesha Dixon.

The trailer video features a contestants, judges and professional dancers “glammed up and ready to go” dressed up in some quite interesting costumes. The stand-out costume has to be Anton Du Beke wearing a half-tuxedo, half dress outfit.

Confirmed contestants for this  17th series include 80s TV legend Anneka Rice who had her own very successful reality TV show ‘Challenge Anneka’. Other contestants include British rowing champion James Cracknell, former England goalkeeper David James, BBC Radio One presenter Dev Griffin and BBC Breakfast’s Mike Bushell.

The judging panel sees a change with Darcey Bussell being replaced by Motsi Mabuse. However the 2019 series will see the return of popular presenting duo Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. Strictly Come Dancing 2019 is confirmed to launch on Saturday 07th September on BBC One and BBC iPlayer with the live shows scheduled to begin on 21st September.

Music: Body Talks | Artist : The Struts (feat. Kesha)

The music in the 2019 Strictly Come Dancing trailer is a song called ‘Body Talks’ performed by English rock band The Struts and features singer-songwriter and rapper Kesha. Body Talks was originally released in June 2018 as the lead single from The Struts’ second album ‘Young & Dangerous’. The track was then re-released as a duet with Kesha in August 2018.
