The music in the 2019-2021 Lancôme IDÔLE advert is the song ‘Unstoppable’ released in 2016 by Australian singer-songwriter Sia. The track is taken from Sia’s seventh studio album ‘This Is Acting’. The album which included songs such as ‘Move Your Body’ and ‘Alive’ performed very well. The deluxe version of the album included the hit single ‘The Greatest’.
Sia’s music is popular in the TV commercial world with the Miss Dior advert starring actress Natalie Portman which features her 2014 hit ‘Chandelier’. Also, a recent TV campaign trailer by the BBC for the extraordinary wildlife series Seven Worlds One Planet featured a collaboration between Sia and German film score composer Hans Zimmer with ‘Out There’.
Who is the actress riding the white horse?
The young woman starring in this Lancôme IDÔLE commercial is American actress and singer Zendaya Coleman (known as ‘Zendaya’). The actress is a 22-year-old Californian who began her professional career working as a fashion model for Macy’s, Mervyns and Old Navy. Her career took a boost when she began playing the character Rocky Blue in the Disney Channel’s dance-based sitcom Shake It Up in 2010. The actress also competed in season 16 of Dancing with the Stars (the American version of Strictly Come Dancing). Zendaya has more recently co-starred in the musical film The Greatest Showman as trapeze artist Anne Wheeler.
