Snickers – Rap Battle

Chocolate bar brand Snickers have released this new advert with the ultimate cameo appearance (of sorts). The ad is set at a house party with a group of rappers having a rap battle. It’s Compton based rapper Boogie’s turn who seems to have the appearance of British singer, pianist and-composer Sir Elton John singing John’s famous 1976 duet Don’t Go Breaking My Heart (without Kiki Dee as a duet partner). A fellow rapper helps him out by offering a sneakers saying “you always loose your edge when you’re hungry”. The rapper’s body is then restored as he continues and wins the battle.

The music in the advert

Music: Don’t Go Breaking My Heart | Artist: Elton John

Elton John’s Don’t Go Breaking My Heart is the song sang by him in the ad and can as always be found on music services for download. The raps performed in the ad are currently not identified as commercially available.
