A voice-over explains that the Yaris cross is the Japanese car manufacturer’s first ever compact hybrid SUV. He then says the tagline “Hello hybrid happiness”.

The music in the background of the Toyota Yaris Cross advert is a cover version of the song called “Happy Together” originally recorded by American pop band ‘The Turtles’ in 1967. The song was written by Garry Bonner and Alan Gordon.
The version in the advert was recorded by American singer and composer Mel Tormé in 1969 which never charted.
