This 2021 Heineken Advert titled ‘Finally together’ has been released for the EUFA Euro 2020 football championship. The advert shows football fans from all over Europe finally getting together to enjoy the tournament.
Euro 2020 was postponed last year due to Covid restrictions across Europe last year. This advert shows supporters acting responsibly and exchanging gestures while maintaining friendly respect for each other. Whether it be offering a free extra pizza, leaving a Heineken beer in the fridge or offering to take a group photo; these gestures were all laced with some banter having featured the promotion of rival teams.
The 60-second commercial concludes with the tagline ‘Finally together… to be rivals again’ before showing viewers a line-up of special limited edition Euro 2020 Heineken bottles. The bottles feature each of the countries flags for those who made it to the championships.

The music in the 2021 Heineken Euro 2020 advert is the classical song ‘Il barbiere di Siviglia’ taken from the opera The Barber of Seville. The opera which premiered in 1816 was created by Italian composer Gioacchino Rossini. Rossini’s Barber is considered to be one of the greatest masterpieces of comedy within music, and remains a popular piece on many platforms which feature a comedic tone.
