KFC – Chicken Town Food / Supermarkets 22nd March 201922nd March 2019 This new KFC advert called Chicken Town aims to highlight the many fried chicken restaurants that try to imitate the international fast food chain. The video features Colonel Sanders driving by a whole host of these restaurants with obvious copycat branding from AFC right through to ZFC. The American fast food giant however says “But a word to the wise, there is only one Colonel in Chicken Town”. The music in the advert Music: Love Theme | Artist : Royal Philharmonic Orchestra The music in the KFC Chicken Town advert is a cover of the 1972 instrumental “Love Theme” music by Nino Rota and lyrics by Larry Kusik. The song was first introduced as an instrumental theme in the 1972 film The Godfather. A rendition was also recorded by American singer Andy Williams called “Speak Softly, Love”. The version in the advert is performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and will be available soon. The version used in The Godfather is available to download now.
