Tesco celebrates 100 years of trading with this festive advert video titled Delivering Christmas.
In the ad we follow a Tesco driver on his last shift before Christmas who embarks on an unexpected detour through time. In just one night he experiences 100 years of deliveries with a van loaded full of ‘food from the future’.
The van appears to travel through time much like the Delorean in Back To The Future leaving electricity and fire tracks in it’s wake. He even makes a delivery for Winston Churchill at number 10 Downing Street and appears in the 80’s classic game show Bulls-eye. The commercial concludes with a voice-over saying “Delivering Christmas for a 100 years.”
