The Virgin Trains “Decision Time” advert has caused some controversy in the news as American deathcore band Carnifex claim it is their song, “Answers In Mourning” and was mis-labelled as “thrash metal”. Not to mention they were used negatively as the “bad” side of not taking a Virgin Train to work. They claim that Virgin did not ask their permission to use their music either resulting in a twitter row. Carnifex are not pleased with Virgin Trains!
Below is the advert in question which features Spandau Ballet’s True and the Carnifex track.
The band’s track is taken from their 2008 album The Diseased And The Poisoned, which came out on Victory Records. The band are no longer signed to that label, and probably have no ties with the label anymore.
