Starling Bank have released this new advert that invites viewers to “Start feeling good about money” with their person and business banking. The commercial goes on to say that Starling are voted Britain’s Best Bank. Twice. The ad features a swarm of starlings or murmuration crossing rural countryside.

The music in the Starling Bank 2019 advert is a cover of the 1964 song “Feeling Good” written by English composers Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse for the musical The Roar of the Greasepaint – The Smell of the Crowd. The song was famously recorded by American Singer-Songwriter Nina Simone in 1965 for her album 12 Put A Spell On You. The version in the advert is recorded by Swedish musician Avicii. We have noticed that the pitch has been increased a notch for the advert changing the sound of the vocal slightly.
