Amazon’s Christmas TV advert for 2017 shows what happens when hundreds of Amazon boxes go on a magical journey to ‘send a smile this Christmas’. The song in the advert is a cover version of the 1977 hit Give A Little Bit written by Roger Hodgson and released by English rock band Supertramp. The song became an international hit reaching number 15 on the Billboard Pop Singles Chart. The version in the advert was especially produced for the advert and the performers are currently unknwon. I absolutely LOVE this song by Roger Hodgson, the creative genus of Supertramp. What a great idea to put this song with the “Giving” spirit of Christmas. Love it when Roger plays this song live and everyone stands, sings and claps. And by the way, Roger sounds as good now, as when he was with Supertramp in the early 70’s. Go see him if he plays near your city, you won’t be disapointed..

I love this song. It was written and composed by Roger Hodgson over 40 years ago and it is just as great today. He is such an amazing songwriter who has composed so many inspiring and timeless songs. This is a Roger Hodgson signature song that is one of my favorites. This is the kind of music that inspires and gives hope to everyone, the true spirit of Christmas giving.
