Here’s the new Asda advert for 2022 titled “Life Tastes Better In Full Colour”. The ad invites viewers to “brighten your basket and try Asda’s delicious fruit and veg”.
During this colourful advert, a voice-over explains how their food is quality checked for flavour and Asda currently offers various two-for-two deals on various fruits.

The music in the background of the 2022 Asda advert is a cover version of a popular song called “Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows” that was released by American singer-songwriter Lesley Gore in 1963. The track original appeared on Gore’s second studio album “Lesley Gore Sings of Mixed-Up Hearts.”
The single was released in conjunction with Gore’s rendition in the 1965 film Ski Party and peaked at number 13 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
The cover version in the advert uses very slightly different lyrics – “Sunshine, vegetables and rainbows”. We currently don’t know who it is performed by but it was likely recorded especially for Asda’s commercial.
