Asda promote their 2021 “Big Savings Event” with this advert titled ‘Smart Shopper’.
A father says to his son “OK Milo, It’s time to teach you the ways of a smart shopper” before putting a mask on and entering the Asda store.
The ad shows viewers that there are 1000s of rollbacks across the store including Kiwi’s, Mangoes, Potatoes and Plums. The ad also reminds us that Asda are Quality Food Awards retailer of the year 2020-2021.

The music in the background of the 2021 Asda Smart Shopper advert is a song called “Walk of Life” recorded in 1985 by British rock band Dire Straits.
The track is taken from the band’s fifth studio album ‘Brothers in Arms’. The song was first available as the B-side of “So Far Away” released in advance of Brothers in Arms.
Walk of Life was eventually released as a single later in the year peaking at number 2 in the UK Singles Chart.
