Holiday park chain Haven have launched this new TV ad video titled ‘The Beach Boy’. The commercial follows a young boy sporting a blue cape cruising down the coast on a horse-drawn chariot.
We see holiday makers watch in awe at this unusual sight. The advert concludes however revealing this was maybe just the boy’s imagination as we see him simply running down the beach with his dog.
The commercial is showcasing Haven’s partnership with Team GB. There are also 10-second and 30-second version of this ad featuring Olympians Tom Daley and Denis Lewis at a Haven resort.

The music in the Haven Beach Boy advert is a 1981 song called ‘Swords of a Thousand Men’ written by Eddie Tenpole, and recorded by the British punk band Tenpole Tudor. The song reached number 6 in the UK Singles Chart staying for a respectable 10 weeks on the chart.
