Music: For Once In My Life (cover) | Artist : Alice Russell
As used in their previous autumn commercial, the music is a cover version of Stevie Wonder’s rendition of For Once In My Life. The song is performed by British soul singer Alice Russell. The song was written by Ron Miller and Orlando Murden for Motown Records’ in 1966 and released by Jean DuShon. Many renditions of the song followed including releases by The Four Tops, The Temptations, Diana Ross and Tony Bennett. However, one of the most recognised is the up tempo version by Stevie Wonder which Alice Russell’s version is based upon. Alice’s version is not currently available for download, but of course, Stevie Wonder’s is.
