Visa have launched their Christmas 2018 advert which sends “A Christmas message from the High Street” asking shoppers to keep their shopping local when buying gifts this festive season. Various shopkeepers sing their version of Mariah Carey’s Christmas hit All I Want For Christmas Is You.

The song that is sung in the advert is a cover of the 1994 Christmas hit All I Want For Christmas Is You by American singer-songwriter Mariah Carey. The artist wrote and produced the song alongside Walter Afanasieff in November 1994 and has now been coined the best-selling modern day Christmas song of all time.
