Virgin Atlantic’s 2018 TV advert features a plane battling the British weather during take-off before breaking through the clouds to a bask in the sunlight. The advert continues and gets a little more wacky with a boy dancing on the underside of the cabin roof and an overhead rainbow ice-cream dispenser! The ad culminates with the flight arriving in New York with the Statue of Liberty poking above the cloud tops greeting the flight with a wink.

The music in the advert is a brand new track by American recording artist Chaka Khan called “Like Sugar”. The track was produced by Major Lazer founder Switch and is taken from Khan’s new album (the first since her “Funk This” album back in 2007).
